Take 12 (again)

An interpretation of the educational dice game "Take 12" from 1959. It is a fairly simple game that is easy to learn but hard to win.
Object: to claim as many of the numbered squares as possible. Squares are claimed by matching the total from the dice.
Rules: Using the total of the dice, select any number of squares where the sum of the squares match the total. For instance, with a roll of 4 and 6 (sum=10), possible selections include 10, 8+2, 5+4+1, etc.
Doubles: If doubles are thrown, twice the value of the dice may be used but is not required.
This was the first app published by OliveManor Software. It has been rewritten and is available again.

About
OliveManor has been around for decades and a passion for creating apps started it all. The first one was written on an apple ][+ (before macs) and offered a better method for check book balancing. Ahh, the good old days of whirring and clicking drives, repurposed portable TVs and thermal printers.
Speaking of good old days, palm pilots, iPods, and physical wallets filled with physical money used to be more common before the iPhone.
In 2007 apple introduced the iPhone and, everything changed. 2008 brought the SDK (software developers kit) which required an intel powered mac to use; so, the Sr. Programmer requested the CFO authorize the purchase of a new intel powered iMac. There was some mention of profit from the apps written but none was ever shown on the books.
Objective-C was, ummm, more challenging than expected. Looking for a better understanding of obj-C and iOS, the staff of OliveManor Software headed to Banning Mills in Whitesburg, Georgia for a week of training with Big Nerd Ranch (and some really awesome zip-lining.)
Shortly after that the first app was published on the app store. Albeit, not a big success, it started the journey.

Chef, Chief Chef?
